It's close to 2am, but my heart has never felt this contented in a long while. It has nothing to do with people who have a XY chromosome pair. (What an indirect way of putting it!)

Today (I have make-up Sociology class later, at 3.30pm on a Sat!) marks the end of Week 12, one more official week of school ends, before we can settle down to bury our heads in our notes/books to prepare for our finals in Week 15. Term 1 is, ohmagawd, actually drawing to a close!

My past few Fridays have been hectic, with back-to-back activities; meetings, class, research participation, CCA, with my day starting at 9am and only winding down after 6pm. However, today saw a welcomed change. I skipped training today due to an LTB meeting to compile our final report. It was a blessing in disguise, because after dinner, Ci Han, Joyce Chan and I had this heart-to-heart talk in the library from 9-10.30pm in the library. :) It feels really nice to know that I have found such close friends during this one term of being in SMU. I never expected myself to make friends who share many identical view-points on many issues in university, save from those I know from my AC and MG days.

Trying to write a 2500-3000 word LTB learning journal isn't too hard this time around. We have grown so much as a team, and grown closer as friends. I will sincerely miss our meetings together. We made this totally crazy video cum news spoof for our final presentation; the class loved it as heard by their laughter. I will miss Week 8, our supposedly break week where we went down to BCCSC for 5 days in a role, to be a mentor/friend/teacher for the kids there. LTB was the one of the few modules where I actually looked forward (perhaps we didn't have too much to mug for it as well) to attending. Man, I am feeling all nostalgic now.

Erm, and I dropped my Spanish bid as well. So upset, but decided that I want to clear as many core modules in the first year, so I bidded for Management Comms instead. I can always learn it next year I guess!

Omg, I need to start practicing more Calculus questions too.... :|

Hey, you know what? I take back my words from my last entry. Our LTB presentation went really well. Everyone in class, including my TA, the Head TA and the Prof were pleasantly surprised by our team's choice of speakers. The difference from the other groups were obvious. For them, it was the usual two or three better speakers.

Cihan was telling me before the presentation that she was afraid everyone might take it the wrong manner, i.e., our group was split into two camps, the locals and the foreign students. But yeah, another TA even commented on our team's cohesiveness. :)

I was glad we gave one another chances. It's true that everyone has their own strengths, but if you keep asking one who is good in making ppts to make the ppts all the time, he would only improve over that aspect and not others...

Anyway, my driving prac sucked today... I think it's the instructor. I don't like this one with the mustache. Hahaha. I hope i don't get him next time.

Mum's calling. Got a massage appointment booked. :)

LTB CSP.

Like most things sweet and dandy (even chocolate), you tend to miss it once it's gone from your hands. Today (technically, yesterday since it's past midnight now) was the last day of our LTB project. We've come SO far and having to complete the CSP component of LTB is a huge load off our minds and backs, and it feels so surreal that we don't have to be at BCCSC located in Bedok from 1.30pm to 5.30pm anymore. All in all, approximately 20 +/- hours have been spent executing the project, and at least the same amount of time and efforts have been put into planning and organizing such a successful CSP. Praise the Lord for its smooth running and fellow Westies as the journey from the East doesn't seem so mundane. Plus, this served as another opportunity for our group to further bond. (Gotta get the photos from Joyce Chan!)

With children around, conflicts will be inevitable... however, you should have seen our faces on Tuesday. Boys throwing their tempers around when they are supposed to cooperate in building a robot. And we were so stunned. Probably thinking that the conflict will boil over itself. Hurrhurr.

We had the finale, which was an Amazing Race held in SMU. Those kids are a bundle of energy. They ran from SESS to SOB, and back and the poor facis (aka us) had to withstand curious glances by our fellow school mates as we chased after them. I am so grateful there were no casualities or any injury. They had fun, or at least that's what they told us and it kinda makes the whole CSP experience so worthwhile. Over the course of the week, we could sense the kids warming up to us!

OK, I finally submitted my acad writing essay (5 pages, within my page limit this time!) after procrastinating for the past 3 weeks and only got started 2 days ago. I was so hard-pressed for time that it was hard to start and I hate writing my essays in segments. I think AC's lit essay trainings have been ingrained in me, because having disjointed thoughts would mean twice the effort when it comes to synthesizing the entire paper over again.

But unfortunately, the work doesn't end at that. There's still a 400word LTB report on our group's chosen leader (yay, everyone loves Terry Fox), pyschology presentation in Week 10, and sociology presentation and the 2500-3000 word report. Oh joy.

Christmas, please some soon. No wait, I don't have to wait that long, I just need the next break to roll around soon. This recess break is totally non-existent. I can't believe that in two more days!! I am not complaining. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not...... wait, who am I kidding? Ok, attitude, baby.

STAY CHIRPY. :D --> for some reason, this irritates me, yet it makes me wanna laugh/scoff.

And tomorrow..... LTB again! But for a different reason! Meeting Jacinta for coffee in the morning for our final debriefing session before completing our report... leaving about one and a half days for me to slowly savour what's left of my term break!
