Innocence.

Innocent love. It also speaks volumes about how children are 'colour-blind'. Adults can take a lesson from them here.
I really love this video... the girl is SO cite, and that boy... see his cheeky smile! Totally melts my heart!

And this too-

Haha!! That chinese kid is a future towkay in the making man. Reminds me of those times when I was relief-teaching. Now I understand how teaching really brings across a different form of satisfaction!

Had the great chance to interview Yasmin Ahmad, the creative mind behind these two short features. My article's not up yet, but it will be, soon!

And here's my Air Supply article- looking forward to their concert tomorrow! :)

Today Olie and I caught this Jap film, '10 Promises to My Dog' as part of our work! The title sounds cheesy but I honestly enjoyed the show though it was a tad bit slow. That wasn't really a problem cos it was just a simple, heart-warming show about growing up, dreams, family relationships and our ties with our pets. I didn't really want to end up tearing but really couldn't help it... what a whimp I know, haha.

It is not something that I would immediately think of watching given its predictable story line, but it is a great family show with beautiful scenes of Japan, cute fashion (not the KAWAII kind, think more chic, simple Muji type of Jap dressing) and pretty interior decors. The ultimate eye-candy is... THE GOLDEN RETRIEVER DOG. I want a pup now but I know I lack the responsibility to look after it. Besides, my parents aren't exactly huge fans of animals, unfortunately.

off to bed. am exhausted!

Of the Osmonds, Yasmin Ahmad and Air Supply.

DONNY OSMOND SHOOK MY HAND FOR 2 SECONDS!!

You may not know who he is, but go ask your mother. She probably knows and had a 'puppy love' crush on him from a long, long time ago till now, haha.

This was him, then, and now. You should have seen how 40/50 year old babyboomers gushing over their Donny. And the youngest fan Olie and I spotted was this FIVE year old girl. She's sooo cute, singing along to the songs and shouting for Donny. She even said she wished she was born earlier so she could see Donny at a longer age. Must be the mother's influence. I still find it very hard to comprehend how her music idol is at least 10 times her age? There was this really rude dude at the concert who tapped Olie and my shoulder really hard and asked the both of us to sit down at the concert, when everyone was on their feet, clapping and dancing along. Was annoyed but didn't want to kick a fuss up so I sat down. THEN we (plus the people in front of us) were yelled at again. He didn't need to yell and spoil everyone's mood. Really detest these ugly Singaporeans! Gonna take action, but am not saying how here.

And now. They were in Singapore for a one-night only concert. Their 50th anniversary world tour!

I am a new Osmonds fan. Wholesome music is a good change. ;)

Enjoying my internship. Our colleagues are all very friendly and caring, feel so loved. And I get to watch 3 free movies and attend 2 complimentary concerts a single week. Woohoo.

Go catch "Wanted" starring James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie, it's an action thriller that has a really smart plot and I love the sardonic humour. Will be writing a review about that, so do check it out when it's out!

Olie and I caught "You don't mess with the Zohan" and boy you sure don't want to mess with the show. It's so sexually crude, but the spoofs are quite funny la, Adam Sandler's still one of my fav actors.

Tomorrow I will be interviewing Yasmin Ahmad, a critically acclaimed Malaysian film and commercial director, and Air Supply!

Haha, it has been an EVERGREEN/OLDIES week man. Olie and I were trying to think of a musical artiste of our era which we think will have as great a legacy as The Osmonds and Air Supply. Couldn't think of anything. Madonna, MJ and Mariah are not really counted. We're thinking along the lines of before Britney got herself wrecked period (~1999?), to today. Maybe Justin Timberlake?

Omigosh, so excited about tomorrow.. If this is exciting, 'I WOULD DIE A THOUSAND DEATHS' (as overheard from a crazy Osmond fan yest) if I can have the chance to interview Jason Mraz (or John Mayer!!).

Jason Mraz is coming to Singapore for Singfest!! With Alicia Keys and Travis!! I really love Travis and Olie's dying to meet Alicia Keys.

My parents will never pay for the S$200 ticket for me though. Must pack more lunches to work now.
